Thistle Show 2006 - John, the MC and all the performers take a well deserved bow at the end.

Members of the Society, both adult and junior members, gave a show, full of colour & vitality as they gave displays of Scottish Country and Highland dancing, sang and played musical instruments in St James Social Club at Orrell. Even the audience were involved in some simple dances and they joined in with enthusiasm - including the Mayor of Wigan, Councillor Mrs Eunice Smethurst.

All the money raised would be given to the local Alzheimer's Society. Two ladies from the Society spoke to us after the interval. It was a very happy night for everyone.
